Why do seven of the Earth's best and brightest sacrifice decades of their lives in order to save a planet full of strangers? Sent to pull the asteroid designated as 45QRD off its orbit with Earth, the crew of GC-7 knows the answer the public wants to hear is, "To save the human race."
